Since taking my first ASL class 10 years ago, I have been enthralled and captivated by the language and culture of my Deaf friends and colleagues. After completing an Interpreter Training Program, I shifted my focus to Deaf Education. I taught Deaf students in the bay area full-time beginning in 2019 while working as a part-time interpreter until transitioning to interpreting full time in 2022.
I enjoy a myriad of interpreting environments, with the bulk of my experience being in education and medical.
My personal interests & curiosities include human rights, equity, arts, rock-climbing, yoga, psychology, and cognitive science.
